How do you build one brand for every art form and every audience? For the Danish Arts Foundation, the answer was an open, flexible identity that’s still going strong years later.
The Danish Arts Foundation is Denmark’s biggest supporter of the arts. Every year, it backs more than 6,400 artists and projects across visual arts, film, literature, music, performing arts, architecture, crafts and design. The goal is simple but ambitious: to support talented artists, and bring art to as many people as possible, at home and abroad.
To do that, the foundation needed a brand that felt as open as its mission. Something clear enough to welcome newcomers, flexible enough to cover every art form, and solid enough to last.
We created the brand platform, communication strategy and visual identity, all built around making art feel open, inviting and for everyone. The identity gives each art form space to shine while keeping the foundation easy to recognise wherever it shows up.
Our collaboration started back in 2019, and the identity has grown and evolved with the foundation ever since. Proof that when you get the foundations right, a brand can keep moving forward for years.
